The platform connects brands with both human and AI-powered influencers in minutes, offering end-to-end campaign automation—from smart matching to real-time analytics. Hypeo is also developing AI Meta Humans, virtual content creators who speak local dialects and cater to Moroccan audiences. These innovations indicate that Morocco’s digital transformation is extending across the broader creative economy.

Financial Commitment Underscores Sector Evolution

The rise of AI in Moroccan media is supported by substantial financial commitment. Research shows that media companies are no longer treating AI adoption as an optional upgrade—but rather as essential infrastructure. This evolution is occurring within the context of wider national investment: Morocco secured USD 500 million in World Bank support to advance financial and digital inclusion, capital that may indirectly benefit media modernization efforts.

Ethical Oversight and Implementation Challenges

In September 2025, the country launched the Digital for Sustainable Development Hub in partnership with the UNDP. Designed to serve Arab States and African economies, the hub aims to build capacity for inclusive AI development. The Digital Morocco 2030 plan earmarks 11 billion dirhams—nearly one billion euros—for training 100,000 youth in digital professions and generating 240,000 jobs by 2030.
